"Leather Clothing For the Aviator, Motorcyclist and Sportsman!" *Proudly Hand Crafted In Scotland* Aero Leather "Bootlegger" Horsehide Jacket Our popular “Bootlegger” is easily mistaken for a late 20's early 30's original all purpose flight jackets.This cross between an early flight jacket and a motorcycle jacket represents a vintage look no longer made by any other manufacturer.The front zipper is fitted at an angle giving a generous wind flap with an extra button fastening at the neck, three deep pockets none of which are fitted with zippers, military styled epaulettes, adjustable strap and buckle at the waist, stitched on 'Cossack' style half belt at back and fitted with a luxurious Alpaca Wool body lining complete with cotton drill sleeve lining and hidden storm cuffs for wind resistance. We have discontinued using Talon zippers on our Utility style and motorcycle jackets in favor of our own"Aero" brand in Bright Brass, Antiqued Brass and Bright Silver.These have proven to be a much stronger performer and all around better choice with our heavy horsehides. Size and Fit Each and every Aero is hand crafted from scratch for the individual customer.We don't have them hanging on a rack or in-stock and ready to ship on a moment's notice. Many of our first time customers think it’s necessary to visit a tailor to get correctly measured--that is not the way we want you to do it. Using a simple cloth tape measure and doing it yourself usually works just fine.Take measurements under armpits, around fullest part of chest and shoulder blades. For us to properly size you, this is what we’ll need to know: Chest size--- both inhaled and exhaled. Shirt size--- Height--- Weight--- Waist size---Not just your pants tagged waist size but also a stomach/navel area measurement. Sport coat or suit jacket size .
